These are my go to books for favorite recipes, inspiration and broadening my
horizons! I am constantly exploring new books but these are the ones that have the
most spills on their pages and the most post it notes sticking out of them.

I love a book that has a clear recipe, a bit of a story and breath taking photos.

All of these make the cut!

Jenny Rosentrach’s Dinner: A Love Story

Jenny’s take on getting dinner on the table on a regular basis is straight forward,
comical and delicious. When I am short on inspiration and time this is where I turn.
Her blog, by the same name is also wonderful. The Pork Ragu – just make it as soon
as possible, do not question this.

Yotam Ottolenghi’s collection of books push me to try ingredients I never would
have thought of. His cooking is fresh and flavorful. Currently, his book Plenty sits on
my counter for easy access!

David Lebovitz’s My Paris Kitchen: Recipes and Stories

When I have a whole day to cook and I am looking for a delicious challenge this is what I grab.

Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat

Celebrity cookbooks are not usually my first choice but Chrissy Teigen’s collection of recipes is phenomenal. I have yet to try a recipe from this book that doesn’t make it to our regular rotation.

Tartine Bread by Chad Robertson and Eric Wolfinger

This has been my go to book on my journey with sourdough. When you talk to other people who bake sourdough bread, everyone knows this book and the recipe that takes up the first 85 pages of this beautiful book!
